How to enroll badge into Imprivata

Depending on what workstation you are at whether it be in your office, exam room, doc box etc. the images will vary slightly but the steps are identical. In this article we will be using an exam room as an example.

- When Epic is open, instead of the normal login screen you will be presented with a log in screen looking like such with an Imprivata login.
When at this login screen you are able to still login to epic normally using your username and password
- To enroll your badge for the first time, simply tap your badge to the card reader. You will then be presented the following.
- Select "Enroll this card now" then type in your username, password and select "SCRMC" as the domain
- Once done you will see a success screen and press "Done" to continue
- If it is your first time logging in for the day you will see a "Grace Period expired" window. Type your password in to continue logging into Epic.
From here you are all good to go! With this you can tap your badge to sign into Epic, or once in epic tap it again to secure the session and let someone else tap over to keep session context.
