Remove Notetaker anytime from a live meeting from the conversation recording page or through the homepage calendar.
Click Yes, turn it off to confirm the removal of Notetaker from the meeting. Notetaker will be removed momentarily.
The user(s) who have host permissions can directly remove the Notetaker participant during the Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meeting. Check with your meeting host or your meeting platform settings to determine if you have the option to remove participants from a meeting.
To prevent Notetaker from automatically joining your meetings, turn off auto-join in your meeting settings. Learn more about Stopping Otter Notetaker from automatically joining your meetings.
There are multiple ways to access your meeting settings.
Select Meetings I manually select.
Notetaker will no longer automatically join your synced calendar events.
Note: Previous events that were manually toggled on/off will retain the setting. Toggling auto-join on/off will only affect meetings where you did not manually change the setting. Review your calendar events after managing this setting if you previously made changes to individual events.
